*First off I want to thank everyone who’s sent me a note/message/card/text this week after my grandmother passed away. And a BIG thank you to all my clients who have been so kind and understanding as I’ve had to reschedule sessions, meetings and push back my editing timelines. Thank you for being patient with me! The funeral is tomorrow (that’s why I’m working on Labor Day) so there will be a few more crazy days ahead.*

Now back to happy blog and beautiful photos. 🙂

I had the privilege to go to Warsaw ND to photograph a wedding at the beautiful St. Stanislaus cathedral! It was especially lovely because the groom’s great-great uncle helped to build this church! How cool is that?!

When we first arrived there was a huge bonfire across the street!! The bridal party and I were joking that every time the couple smells a bonfire they will now think of their wedding. Thankfully they put it out before the actual ceremony, but it was a unique moment. 🙂

Sarah & Adam requested NOT to see each other before the ceremony so I kept running back and forth between taking photos of the groom and groomsmen, to going inside and getting some last minute getting ready photos of the bride!

Then the groom and groomsmen hid away as the bride and bridesmaids came out for their photos.

Stunning!

Adam was really nervous to watch his bride walk down the aisle. Deep breaths!!

Not a dry eye in the room as Sarah and her brothers came down the aisle!

Congratulations Mr & Mrs!!!

We drove into Grand Forks to the park for a few more portraits of the bride and groom and the whole wedding party together as we hadn’t done them before the ceremony.

The colors in the park were just gorgeous!!!

Love the golden hour light!!

Then we headed back to the Boardwalk for the reception details while the bridal party dropped off their cars at a hotel and caught the bus back. How pretty are these cupcakes?!
