Autumn Engagement Session in Fargo | Keri & JJ | Kris Kandel Photographer

 Keri & JJ have technically been my 2015 clients AND my 2016 clients since they switched their wedding date from this summer to next spring. So I was pretty excited about their engagement session and getting to finally photograph them together! I hadn’t met JJ yet because he works overseas in Russia 4 weeks then is home 4 weeks. Talk about jet lag! As we were chatting about overseas travel and all the places JJ has worked we found out that we had both been to the same little town in Indonesia!! I lived in the mountains of Indonesia for 3 years as a kid and we’d travel to this little town to visit friends. Turns out JJ worked there!!! Different years, but still. Literally 1/2 way around  the globe and we meet in Fargo for a photo session. How crazy cool and weird is that?!

Because of his weeks away you can totally see how much Keri & JJ treasure their time together!!!  Their session was so full of heart felt moments as they looked at each other. I’m so honored to be part of days and stories like this!

Found the last golden tree in Fargo, I loved everything about this spot. Except maybe the two guys mowing the lawn across the path, kinda noisy, lol!
