Lindsay & Christian got a beautiful blue sky day at Bluestem for their wedding!

I really love the next two photos!!

The apple blossoms were gone but I found a honeysuckle bush with beautiful pink flowers. Perfect for Lindsay’s pastel color theme!

I also really loved the mottled light in the image below of her twirling her dress… it just feels like a summer day!

Then we did a few portraits of the couple with their son. How cute is his smirk?!

Time for the wedding party! All the pastel colors!

We only did a few portraits of the wedding party, and then family photos before the early afternoon ceremony. Don’t worry – more portraits after the ceremony so keep scrolling!

I had to laugh when the groom dipped his bride for the first kiss … right behind the bush lol! 😀 Now that’s an epic first kiss – I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone get so low with a dip!

We headed to the park for a few more photos.

I sent everyone back to the bus and took 15 minutes with just the bride and groom. We found the last lilacs blooming in town which was perfection!

I asked the couple to re-create their first kiss dip since the first one was so great but blocked … so this time they dipped in front of the bush lol! Love it!!

Then I headed to the reception and got photos of the details.

The grand entrance, a quick polka across the floor and the reception was off and swinging.
