Liz and Scott’s wedding held so much heart and soul! Every detail, every moment. Each person felt important and special. From the personalized cuff links for dad, to the thanksgiving turkey dinner so everyone felt like family, each moment curated to be welcoming. What a day!

We walked around downtown Fargo, just a couple blocks away from The Sanctuary Event Center, and of course had to stop by the iconic Fargo Theater.

We made a quick stop in Silver Linings Creamery for an ice cream.

The Bride was staying at the Hodo Hotel the night before so we were able to step inside to their cool lobby area for a quick warm up from the November chill.

Then the wedding party joined us, braving the cold wind and tossing off their coats and shawls. You’d never know how cold these girls were! Such good sports.

As we made our way back to the Theater for a full wedding party photo we got photo-bombed by some of Liz & Scott’s wedding guests. Love moments that just happen out of the blue!

Back at the Sanctuary Event Center Liz and Scott got to ring their old church bell. Evidently no one had ever gotten four rings out of it with a single pull, but these two put their backs into it and … One. Two. Three … FOUR rings!!!
Sounds like good luck for their future. 😀

And then it was time for the Ceremony.

There’s a Norwegian tradition that the bride and groom lift the top of the sticky cake and how ever many layers lift with it are the number of children they will have. One is evidently the prediction of this cake.

For those worried – the bride specifically got biodegradable paper glitter. 😉 Environmentally friendly AND fun!

The toasts alternated between huge laughs and more tears. You couldn’t ask for a better!

If you ever wonder how to get a packed dance floor, just say the photographer wants a photo of everyone, then have the DJ kick the music!! I am totally ok with being the “excuse” 😉

During a slow dance my assistant was up in the balcony with the long lens and captured these awesome photos of the parents and then a huddle in the middle of the dance floor. So sweet!!!
