Fargo Ramada Plaza Wedding | Kayla & Brad | Kris Kandel Photographer

You may recognize Kayla & Brad from their engagement session last fall. She brought lots of details with them to that session so I knew her wedding was going to be full of lots of details and beautiful things to photograph!!

We stared out at the Ramada Plaza in Fargo where the girls were getting ready.

So much bling!!

We found a corner where they could exchange letters without seeing each other, and then walk forward for the first look. It was quite emotional with both of them wiping away tears of joy as the read their letters to each other!

Then a drive downtown to the park. I loved the photo below of Brad practicing his kissy lips which made Kayla laugh!!

The blue sky was gorgeous down by the Red River!!

So pretty!

It was pretty windy so we got to play with the veil quite a bit too. So fun!

Love the photo below on the left that my 2nd photographer got with all the golden leaves framing the couple. So romantic!!

Then the wedding party joined us!

Isn’t he cute!!!

The groom’s mom passed away a few years ago so they made extra effort to include her into the day. Special cuff links with her photo and her picture sitting on the pew. So many details went into this wedding!

Walking down the aisle. Everyone was quite emotional throughout the ceremony.

The little ring bearer fell asleep with grandpa during the vows. How cute is he?!

Congratulations Mr & Mrs!!!

I ran over to the Ramada Plaza to get some detail photos of the reception hall.

Kayla & Brad are high school sweethearts so they asked me to take some pictures of their class rings as well!

The first dance as husband and wife!

Since Brad’s mom passed away Kayla asked his grandmothers, sister and new mother-in-law to dance with him for his Mother/son dance. I don’t think there was a dry eye in the whole room.

Then it was Kayla’s turn to dance with her dad.

 

And then it was time to dry the tears and get the party started!!!
