Maplelag Resort is about a 2 hour drive from Fargo. A gorgeous lodge for the reception, outdoor ceremony space and cabins for each of your guests. Most couples rent out the whole resort for a weekend away with friends and family. Meals, bonfires, boat rides in the lake, hiking (or skiing in the winter) trails, fishing ... there's so much to do!!

The wedding I photographed rained out, so we ended up doing most of the photos inside. The Lodge is a sprawling 3 story building with plenty of room if the weather has a mind of its own! The staff was awesome, quickly turning the dance room into a ceremony location and then re-arranging it back to a dance floor afterward. And the home cooked - family style meal was amazing!
