Jordan & Aaron have been on this blog a few times already, so you may recognize their faces from their mini winter session and their full engagement session! I was really excited for their wedding day after working with them a few times. So much fun!!
I arrived at Hope Lutheran Church at the same time as the make up artists – Trista from Blushed Airbrush makeup. We had a fun chat about eyeliners since I always want to do cat eye makeup but have yet to find a good brand of liner that stays. (For the curious her recommendation for an inexpensive brand – ELF from Target.)
We totally lucked out with the weather, just a light dusting of snow to make everything magical, but not too cold!
Back inside to get dressed. Loved all the colorful robes Jordan got for the bridesmaids!
And then a first look with all the girls. So fun to see the expressions of all her friends seeing the dress for the first time!!
Then a walk down the aisle to see her groom for the first look.
One thing I love about Christmas weddings is how awesome the churches are decorated! Lights and glitter everywhere.
The teddy bear below is made from Jordan’s grandfather’s shirts. Isn’t that a great way to include someone special into the day?
Then we stepped outside for a few minutes before the light snow melted off.
The next one is probably one of my favorites from the day!
Gorgeous!
We headed over to the Plains Art Museum with the whole wedding party for photos!
Jordan & Aaron had the biggest wedding party of the year. 11 bridesmaids, 10 groomsmen, 2 ushers and 2 personal attendants!
Very GQ.
I love the architecture at the Plains Art Museum!
Back at the church we did family photos and then I took pictures of the details. Loved the snow ring shots below!
This was Aaron’s gift to Jordan! So pretty!
And then it was time for the ceremony!!
Congratulations MR & MRS!!!
As the wedding party headed out onto the party bus I went to the Cambria Suites in West Fargo to take photos of the reception. Isn’t it fun how Jordan used the Poinsettia plants as centerpieces? Very Christmasy.
Look at how excited the flower girls were!! So cute!
Toasts are always a fun time for everyone!
And the first dance. Magical.
Let’s get this party started!!!
Thank you so much for inviting me to be part of your wedding day! I hope you enjoyed these personal favorites of mine. I’ll have your link do download all the photos ready for you soon. Until then Merry Christmas!!!
