Stephanie & Brian’s October wedding started out with a sprinkling of snow! Minnesota just can’t quite figure out if it’s Fall or Winter this month, but it made for some fantastic photos.

Rustic Oaks has such a lovely getting ready room for brides, these stunning windows and lovely couch are just the perfect backdrop!

 

Her gift: perfume. His gift: A watch.

First look time!!

I love the contrast of winter on the evergreens and autumn on the oak tree!

Stunning!!

We even found an apple tree for some more autumnal vibes!

The light down by the pond was so dreamy and romantic, perfect for wedding photos!

 

Then the wedding party joined us! I love that the bride’s man wore the same color as the bridesmaids, it looked visually so cohesive – hint for any of you future brides who want to have guys in your party!

 

The guys had been watching “Mighty Ducks” on VHS in the basement while getting ready, so of course we had to do the famous “Flying V” formation!!

I found this spot in the garden which had snow, summer flowers and fall leaves, it was such a perfect representation of their day, warm sun but snow!!

After some family photos it was time for the wedding to start!

The kids LOVED all the glow sticks!!

We stepped outside for a few sunset photos before the toasts started. Isn’t this MN/ND border sky just stunning?!!!

 

Toasts included a little rap from the maid of honor!

First dance:

Let’s get everyone on the dance floor and start this party!!!

And finally a special “First dance” for the bride’s parents who didn’t get to have one on their own wedding day. How sweet is that??!!
