October 5th dawned rainy and cold but that didn’t dampen Sami & Blaze’s joy and enthusiasm for their wedding day!
They didn’t want to see each other before the ceremony so we started photos with just the girls around the sanctuary, then they hid away and the boys came out. Swap swap!
So this watch (and the groom’s ring) caused the only major hiccup in the day. It went missing! The box couldn’t be found, everyone searched all the rooms and even ran out in the pouring rain to search the cars. Finally a groomsmen went back to the apartment and found it hidden in their daughter’s room. She must have picked up the box the night before and moved it out of the bags to go to the church. WHEW, crisis averted, ring and watch found! So of course we had to get some funny photos of the groom showing it off.
Ceremony time!!
Then we headed to the City Brew Hall for portraits. It was drizzling but not too bad, so we decided to do photos right there just in case it started pouring and we had to run inside. Thankfully it’s a pretty cool building!
Grandpa “Photo-bombing” the lineup as he headed inside. 😀
I asked “Who in this group is most likely to end up in jail?” … This groomsman was very confident it would be him, lol!!!
Inside the reception room was MAGICAL – so of course we had to take a few (*cough cough* Waaaaay too many) photos inside.
The grand entrance was everything you could want, including a T-rex!
They went right into a first dance which I thought was really sweet!
So much laughter, so many tears. The reception was fantastic!
Then the emotional parent dances after dinner.
Let’s get this party started!!
