Fargo Engagement Photography | Katy & Mike | Kris Kandel Photographer

Last November I did a mini shoot with Katy & Mike to get some save the date images for them (see that session HERE). Now that we are in the height of summer it is time to do their real engagement session around Fargo!! These two are fantastic to work with, such easy smiles and connection between them. Also can I just say I am beyond lucky to get to photograph such gorgeous people!!  Ok enough sappy talk, let’s get onto the photos. Starting with the park:

Such dreamy light this time of year!

Then we found this cool spot. Not often you find a hill (ok it’s more like a bump)  in North Dakota!

With the sunset light coming through the trees it almost looks like fall colors (although I am no where near ready for fall, more summer please!). The colors are so warm and happy!

After a quick wardrobe change we headed to downtown Fargo, where we unexpectedly ran into the car show! So many people walking and driving around downtown! Hot dog vendors and street music. Very fun but a bit hard to photograph around.  So we ducked into some alleyways instead of using the main streets. Which turned out awesome. : )
