Down by the Red River the light was just dreamy last week!! Although the mosquitoes were really bad these two were awesome to work with!! (note to self: it’s time to start packing bug spray to engagement sessions!!) Just look at how gorgeous the photos turned out though!

I loved this little corner we found. The colors here were just so soft. Perfect for some romantic portraits. : )

We were tired of the bugs by this point so off to downtown Fargo we go! Every time I go downtown I fall in love with this city a little bit more. The colors, the lights, the artistic vibe that has grown every year. It’s a perfect backdrop for fun engagement photos for sure!

By this time we were all relaxed and a little bit goofy. American Gothic stoic faces:

Even a mud puddle can be fun to play with in photography lol!!

Thanks for an amazing engagement session Stephanie & Cole! It was so much fun getting to know you a bit! You were such great sports about my wacky ideas, “Hey stand right here next to the mud puddle!” I hope you had as much fun as I did. : ) Can’t wait for your wedding!!!
