Fargo Radisson & NDSU Wedding | Jenna and Michael | Kris Kandel Fargo Photographer

Jenna and I have been emailing back and forth over the last year since she and Michael live out of town. It was so fun meeting them last fall for their engagement session, and then later on booking her best friend’s wedding for next year! So by the time the wedding rolled around I felt like I was part of the wedding day inner-circle, which is always really fun! To have connections with more than just the Bride & Groom, but the wedding party as well!

Jenna had gorgeous details and such an elegant style for her wedding day. People kept teasing her about how organized she was, but weddings need a little bit of OCD to get everything put together, lol! I loved her color theme of pale gray and peachy-pink. So soft and romantic!

The first look was very sweet, even a few happy tears from sister Jill watching around the corner.

I’m in love with the shot below left that my sister (2nd shooter) got for me!! Wow, hiding behind the half dead flowers was totally worth it, even if you did say you felt a bit silly crawling in the garden, lol!

I love the way Michael lit up when I told him to look over at his bride and see how gorgeous she looked, what a lucky guy he was …  that smile of joy came right out!

I’m always excited to photograph red heads (remember Kristina & Brian’s wedding?) … those freckles, LOVE!!! Seriously gorgeous Jenna!

Then we took the wedding party over to NDSU for some photos by the gardens. It was perfection!

Such lovely, sassy ladies!! I then told them to look over at Jenna and make her laugh, and ALL the girls started laughing – at the exact same pitch. It was hilarious and everyone cracked up for real. I think they might have actually scared the bride slightly at first, lol!

The whole wedding party was awesome! Such a good looking bunch, you really can’t go wrong with people who smile like this!

On the way to the reception we stopped at the Fargo theater for just a couple fun shots!!

The reception at The Radisson Hotel in Fargo was gorgeous!! Such lovely elegance!

I think this wedding’s toasts beat the record for longest speeches. The DJ told me they ran over 40 minutes!! But it was awesome!

I loved the laughter, stories, even tears. It’s moments like this that really make weddings special.

Let’s get this party started!!
