Keeping up

This last week I feel like I’ve hardly been able to keep up. Actually I’m trying to get ahead because I will be on a vacation visiting my cousins in the Netherlands for 3 weeks! Trying to get everything caught up and planned for when I’m gone has been a bit crazy. My to do list is so long!! But I’m trying to prioritize and only do the really important stuff.

For example: I was supposed to give my dog a bath yesterday because she needed to go into the vet for her yearly shots. Well … the bath didn’t happen because work stuff came up. But I figure if she’s clean enough to sleep with she’s clean enough to go to the vet!

I’m hoping that I will be able to find Internet access on our trip so I can share some fantastic images I’m going to take in the Netherlands! It’s been 10 years since I’ve been there to visit family, so I’m really excited to go and see everyone again! Plus it sounds so exotic going to Europe. ; )

In between work I’m researching and planning fun things to do that aren’t too touristy. We can speak enough of the language to get around so why not get off the beaten path a little bit?! Tulip season is just starting so it’s going to be beautiful! We are renting bikes and using trains/trams and walking  to get around, which is going to be fantastic for photography as long as it doesn’t rain too much!  Pretty much the ideal way to see any country.

So yeah, that’s why I’ve been a bit quiet online lately – too busy living my life in real life. ; )
