New Years Eve Wedding | Alysa & Tanner | Ramada Plaza Fargo

Tanner & Alysa’s New Years Eve wedding at Peace Lutheran Church in North Fargo was fantastic! I arrived just as Alysa finished getting ready. We decided to bustle her dress as we were planning to head outside into the snow and she didn’t want it getting wet. So all the girls surrounded her and started tying it up!

Tanner and Alysa were really brave, it was a COLD COLD day but they still wanted to do as many portraits outside as possible. Starting with the first look in the courtyard!

I don’t think Tanner stopped smiling a huge grin all day!!

After about 15 minutes in the cold we headed inside for more portraits in the heated sanctuary. All the Christmas decorations were still up making it a festive atmosphere!

Peace Lutheran has two balconies which is kind of fun to play with!

Then it was time for the wedding party to join us. Again just a really quick 10 minutes outside, run in & out, wrap up and stay warm!!

After the family formals I went out and did some cool ring photos in the snow. I found these two pieces of Eucalyptous that had fallen out of someone’s boquet which added such a great contrast against the white! I got so focused on taking these images (rings actually take a LONG time to set up and a lot of concentration to focus on such a tiny item when even taking a breath makes your lens sway out of focus!) that I may have actually frost bitten my ears as my metal earrings got so cold. The next day I had a line on my earlobe that was really sore, but hey, the images are awesome!

I headed over to the Ramada Plaza to get some detail photos!

Since the Ramda had tons of Christmas trees everywhere we had to grab a few more photos with the lights!

First dance time!

One really fun thing about the day was not only was it New Years Eve, and their wedding, but it was also Tanner’s birthday!! So of course they surprised him with a birthday cake and song!

Happy New Year! Finishing off 2016 and starting 2017 in a pretty fun way!!!
