Romantic Moon Event Center Wedding | Emily & Tyler | Kris Kandel Photographer

Posted in: fargo, Uncategorized, weddings

Emily & Tyler’s wedding day started out with a last minute change of plans on our location. It was POURING (as in moonstone I-can’t-see-where-I’m-driving-even-with-full-speed-wipers) rain so the original plan of meeting out at the Romantic Moon Event Center and doing outdoor photos was simply not going to work. So after a phone call to the bride’s parents we met up at the church instead. Not a big deal, the church had plenty of spaces to take fun photos!!

Tyler had written a note on the bottom of Emily’s shoe, and the whole wedding party signed the other one. How sweet is that?!

First look in the sanctuary!

While the parents and grandparents watched with tears and huge grins. No rain was going to spoil this day!

I love the “wink” that my 2nd photographer caught of the ring bearer! How cute is he?!

By this time the rain had stopped so we went outside for a few more portraits!

Emily’s laugh is just so beautiful!

Love the next photo my sister (2nd photographer) grabbed at this time. She’s so good!!

Then back inside for family photos!

After family time I focused on the details. How amazing is Emily’s boquet?! Made out of vintage broaches and all sorts of bling. It was SO heavy, but wow, amazing.

Blue skies just in time for the ceremony!

Someone was getting a bit bored, lol!

Congratulations Mr & Mrs!!!

As they did the receiving line I headed over to the Romantic Moon Event Center to take detail photos of the tables and decorations before the guests arrived.

The shoe game always gets the best laughs out of family and friends!

And toasts too!!

The Romantic Moon Event Center is located right on the Buffalo River (we did Emily & Tyler’s engagement session their last fall) so of course we had to do a few evening portraits since we hadn’t been able to earlier in the day with the rain.

Next to the main building they are working on a landscaping project including this huge bridge. How fun is this for photos?!

Back inside for the dance!!

Just as I was leaving I asked Emily & Tyler to step outside one last time for sunset.  I love how the sun is setting right at the end of the road, such a fairy tale!!

Thank you Emily & Tyler for inviting me to be part of your wedding day! And thank you for being so flexible with the rain and shuffling your timeline and being willing to do more portraits at the end of the day instead of the beginning. It all worked out perfectly!!! I hope you enjoyed these personal favorites, I’ll be sending you the link to download all the photos in the next few days. Until then feel free to send this blog post to friends and family. 😀
