Christmas time is here again

Where has December gone this year?? Seriously someone is changing the calendar without my knowledge.  But thankfully this year we were able to get our Christmas tree before Christmas week! So all is well. 

It isn’t Christmas season until we’ve sat down as a family and watched “White Christmas” with Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye.  It’s one of those classics you can watch over and over and still laugh at the same jokes. I think my favorite part is when Danny Kaye pretends to hurt his leg so the old General won’t watch the TV program! Or maybe the dance, “The Best Things.”  No actually my FAVORITE part is the opening scene. I think.  Or perhaps the housekeeper when she’s arguing with the General who says he doesn’t need her, and she replies; “It took 15 hundred men to take my place.” lol!  Ok I just love the whole thing.

(And yes, I realize we have a VHS copy, that’s how many years we’ve been watching it lol!)

Can’t watch a Christmas movie without a bit of hot cocoa to cuddle up with. : )
